Contract: Zero-hours (flexible shifts offered, no guaranteed hours)

Pay: £12.21 per hour

About Us

Threshold provides people affected by homelessness in Swindon with a safe place to live and personalised support. We are a small, supportive team who are passionate about ending homelessness in Swindon.

We are looking for reliable, community-minded individuals to join our property management team on a zero-hours basis. You’ll provide flexible support for our supported housing service by safely driving charity vehicles, collecting and delivering furniture, and completing recycling/tip runs.

The Role

As a van driver, you’ll:

  • Drive our vans for deliveries, collections, and other operational tasks
  • Load and unload items safely, following manual handling best practices
  • Carry out recycling and tip runs to support our operations
  • Keep vehicles clean, safe, and roadworthy
  • Provide friendly, professional service to donors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Work flexibly, accepting or declining shifts based on your availability.

The role will support 20 properties within Swindon.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • A confident driver with a full, clean UK driving licence
  • Experienced driving vans
  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
  • Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Flexible and able to work variable hours to meet requirements
  • Passionate about making a difference in your community
  • Working in a similar role is helpful but not essential
