Local businesses

Your involvement can help bring people together and reduce stigma.

Be a force for positive social change in your local area.

Your business can make a difference by working together with us, sponsoring us, donating products or services, helping raise awareness or volunteering as a team.

Partnering with Threshold offers social value to the Swindon community. Our homes offer safety and security to people who would otherwise be homeless. Once safely housed, people are better able to engage with support to manage or recover from the conditions that keep them trapped in the homelessness cycle, move towards independence and build a positive future.

Helping people in our community has a positive secondary impact on issues like crime, drug and alcohol use, social relationships and employment.

If you think your business could help us to end homelessness in Swindon, please get in touch at fundraising@threshold.charity or call 01793 524661.

Our local corporate supporters

We are extremely grateful for support from local companies. We are fortunate to receive generous donations from local businesses, as well as organisations providing services to improve accommodation and support for residents or to support our events.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the organisations who have supported us recently:

If your business would like to get involved we would love to hear from you.

Kate Ball, Community Volunteering Manager, says, 'We're delighted to be able to support Threshold’s work in whatever way we can. It's humbling to see what people are able to achieve against the odds and a reminder of how fortunate we are - and how fragile that can actually be.'

The National Self Build and Renovation Centre is the UK's only permanent venue for independent homebuilding advice & support.

Based at Lydiard Fields in Swindon, the B-corp organisation has been owned by its employees since 2014 and they’ve helped over a quarter of a million visitors to create better, more sustainable homes - whether they’re self building, renovating or retrofitting.

Katy Ashcroft, Employee Ownership Representative and Marketing Manager, says, 'We see a natural alignment with Threshold’s mission to provide safe, long-term housing and support for those affected by homelessness. We both believe everyone deserves a secure place to call home, and we’re glad to contribute to making that a reality in our local community.”

You can also organise a team fundraiser for Threshold as a great way to get colleagues together, have fun and challenge each other while making a real difference.
